This course is geared towards healthcare providers who are either renewing or taking the course for the first time. This course prepares a wide variety of healthcare professionals to recognize life threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The course includes adult, child, and infant rescue skills in both the out-of-hospital and in-hospital settings. A course completion card will be issued to participants at the end of the course if they successfully complete the written examination and skills demonstrations.
Registration is on a first-come, first serve basis with a maximum class size of 9 participants.
If registration is canceled, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled course, a full refund will be given.
If registration is canceled less than 24 hours before the course date, or if you are a 'no-show' at the course, the registration fee will not be refunded and can not be applied to future courses.
Please note: This course is not eligible for CE credit.
A current student manual is required for class attendance. Course manual cost is $13.00. These are available for purchase at Oroville Hospital Education Department, if needed. Please call for further details, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at 532-8640.
