Qualifications: 

CNA qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nurse Aide Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification
• Previous CNA experience in acute care preferred

Unit Clerk qualification: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Terminology
• Computer skills
• Telephone skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple duties

Duties & 
Responsibilities: 

CNA Duites: Participates as part of the team of nursing staff delivering basic nursing care to patients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric.

Unit Clerk Duties: The Unit Clerk performs general duties and is in charge of maintaining the charts.  The Unit Clerk assists in coordinating interdepartmental patient activities.  The Unit Clerk works closely with the Charge Nurse to ensure physician’s orders are noted.
