Latarsha Pittman, FNP-C, joined Oroville Hospital in 2017 as an outpatient nurse practitioner. As a native of Memphis, Tennessee she was surrounded by family members in the medical field and envisioned becoming a nurse from a young age. In her pursuit of this goal she obtained an associate’s degree in nursing from Southwest Tennessee Community College in 2005. Her desire to advance her career led her to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing before enrolling in Austin Peay State University’s master of science in nursing program. As a nurse practitioner, Latarsha values the relationships formed between caregivers and patients. Her goal is to always provide the level of care she or a family member would want to receive and she enjoys working closely with patients to ensure positive health outcomes. Before joining Oroville Hospital, Latarsha worked in emergency medicine at a hospital in the Sacramento area. Her desire to return to primary care led her to pursue a position with the health system. In her free time she enjoys traveling, discovering delicious food and attending concerts.
