Speech Therapy
Speech and language therapy services are offered to assist in the rehabilitation of patients with language/communication disorders, non-verbal communication problems, cognitive deficits, swallowing impairments and patients in need of Speech Generating Devices. Services may include:
- Rehabilitation of cognition and communication impairments in the areas of attention, memory, and decision-making
- Swallowing retraining
- Speech and language training or retraining
- Strengthening of muscular weakness of the face, mouth, and/or throat
- Patient and family education
- Family training
