Due to the increasing number of COVID cases, and in an effort to reduce the amount of time Butte County spends in the Purple Tier, Oroville Hospital will be implementing a no visitor policy effective immediately. In order to best protect our patients, staff and the community, at a minimum, this policy will be in place for 14 days. After the two weeks are up, we will review the evolving data to determine if it is safe to allow visitors again, or extend the no visitor policy. Certain exceptions will be made for end of life, pediatrics or other exceptional support and obstetrics patients in a limited capacity. We urge everyone to remain diligent with the current mandated protocols, including wearing a face mask and social distancing. We strongly believe that if we work together as a community to stop the spread, we will soon be able to open the economy back up and come together once again.
