Qualifications: 
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program/Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Licensure by the California Physician Assistant Board or Current Licensure by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Nurse Practitioners.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification
  • ACLS preferred

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program/Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Licensure by the California Physician Assistant Board or Current Licensure by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Nurse Practitioners.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification
  • ACLS preferred
  • Recent / previous work experience in primary health care setting (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity to patients, family and significant others of all ages
  • Demonstrates reliability and flexibility with work schedule

Duties &
Responsibilities:

The Advanced Practice Provider functions as a provider and coordinator of direct patient care. They perform tasks and services under the direct control and supervision of a state-approved supervising physician in accordance with the mission, standards, policies, and practices of Oroville Hospital.

Other Info:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 pounds, transferring, repositioning patients, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching for patient care functions.

Work area is well lighted and ventilated. Regularly exposed to the risks of blood borne and airborne diseases. Contact with patients in a wide variety of circumstances. Exposed to noise, chemicals, communicable diseases, and hazardous materials. Wears personal protective equipment as required.
