Dan Dominguez PA has been a physician assistant since 1980 and began working at Oroville Hospital in 1991. Dan grew up in Oroville and graduated from Oroville High School. He went to Chico State University and received his bachelors in micro biology and a minor in chemistry. After graduating he was a volunteer for the National Institute of Health. During his time there he met a physician who inspired him to turn his focus from science to medicine.
Dan headed back to school and completed Butte College’s Paramedic Program and became a certified paramedic. Wanting to gain a deeper understanding of medicine Dan went to Stanford and completed their Physician Assistant Program. Dan has worked in most outpatient practices at Oroville Hospital. He enjoys the personal interactions he gets from caring for patients and the satisfaction of helping people. Dan has been particularly proud of his bilingual background and is proud to serve the Spanish speaking community.
When Dan’s not busy working at Oroville Hospital he enjoys bicycling. Over a four year span, he has bicycled about 37,000 miles.
