Patricia recently underwent knee replacement surgery at Oroville Hospital. Her pre-operative work included an EKG, X-ray and blood tests. “I was greeted by a friendly staff member who directed me where to sign in. A friendly young lady called right away for my EKG. I was directed to cardiology and was taken in immediately. Then I went to X-ray, following that I waited only four minutes to get my lab work done. The staff was friendly and professional,” expressed Patricia. “I arrived and was on my way in under 40 minutes; this is the greatest experience I’ve ever had with a hospital.”
We followed up with Patricia post-surgery and she was very satisfied with her experience. She shared, “My surgery went well and Oroville Hospital did not disappoint. I was cared for from the instant I walked in the door. The whole staff was friendly, caring, professional and very fast. My surgery was scheduled for 7:30 am, and that’s when it happened—7:30 am!
All of my nurses were attentive and compassionate. They took everything in stride and managed to keep everyone happy despite their very busy schedule. My orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Robert Ching, anesthesiologist, and the provider who discharged me, were all amazing!”
Patricia was a patient of Dr. Ching three years prior and spent three days in the hospital. She said she received wonderful care from the staff and the meals provided during her stay were great.
