Lili Phung MD has been an ophthalmologist since 2001 and began working in Oroville in 2005. She completed her bachelors in biology from Yale University and went to medical school at East Tennessee State University. After doing a one year internship at Loma Linda University in internal medicine she completed her ophthalmology residency at UC San Diego.
Dr. Phung has had to wear glasses since she was 9 years old. Since then she has been fascinated with eyes. She is passionate about ophthalmology and enjoys educating her patients and answering any questions they have.
Dr. Phung is active in theater and performs in a couple of shows throughout Butte County each year. When she is not busy working at Oroville Hospital, Dr. Phung is spending time with her family or enjoying playing the piano, singing, and volunteering her time at Oroville’s public schools.
