Heartsaver® CPR/AED

Heartsaver® CPR/AED

This American Heart Association class was designed with the purpose to teach lay rescuers the knowledge and skills needed to recognize emergencies, give CPR to adult and child, and infant victims.  The use of the AED and relief of choking is included in the curriculum. Participants often include security guards, firefighters, police, school teachers, coaches, foster parents and childcare providers.  A course completion card is issued the next business day to participants after they have successfully completed the skills demonstrations. The course completion card is valid for two years.

Registration and Cost
Registration is on a first-come, first serve basis with a maximum class size of 8 participants. A minimum enrollment of two (2) attendees is required or the course may be cancelled.

Course cost is $55.00 and payment is due at time of registration. Drop-ins are not accepted.
A current student manual is required for class attendance. Course manual cost is $13.00. These are available for purchase at Oroville Hospital Education Department, if needed.

roups: Scheduling is as needed. Please contact our office with the number of students requiring registration. Date(s) and time(s) will be coordinated to accommodate both the groups and instructors schedules. Groups are also asked ot supply the Education Department with any updates or changes within at least 25hours before the class date(s).
