1.Prefer a college graduate (AA or AS) with a major in Business, or related field of study.

2.Strong organizational skills, time management, computer skills, including fluency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and various web browsers.

3. Ability to type 45 WPM, preferred

4.Administration hospital experience desirable

5.Relate and work well with co-workers, clinical staff, and public

Responsibilities: 

Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant carries through to completion specific work projects assigned by any member of Administration performing secretarial tasks and administrative duties.

Duties

  • Creates and maintains efficient office routines, workflows, and business practices
  • Assembles and maintains data relative to various phases of the center’s activities in an organized manner. 
  • Assists department managers and employees regarding the center and departmental regulations, procedures, and policies, and daily operations
  • Serves as recording secretary and coordinator for various meetings, composes correspondence, and manages calendars, appointments, screens visitors, assists managers and employees wherever needed.
  • Performs various related duties and tasks as directed.
