Responsibilities:

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician refills Automated Dispensing Cabinets and works with the Pharmacist to fills orders from patient profiles.

Duties

 

  • Refills Automated Dispensing Cabinet and assists in discrepancy resolutions
  • Assists with inventory control: takes stock counts for re-order and checks stock for expiration dates
  • Operates unit dose packaging equipment
  • Performs all duties of a Pharmacy Clerk
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent

Lifting Requirements: Medium - generally lifting not more than 50 Ibs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 Ibs.
