Dr. Sukhjinder Sandhu is a primary care provider.  She attended and completed medical school at St Matthew’s University School of Medicine and did her residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, located in New York.  Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, family medicine and treatment of diabetes mellitus. Dr. Sandhu believes preventing disease is a patient’s first line of defense which is why she prioritizes patient education on preventative care and healthy habits. She also takes time to build bonds with each patient and get to know their unique conditions and circumstances. By doing this she is able to understand which treatment options best suit the patient, explain care plans in a manner the patient feels comfortable with, and form a partnership with a goal of leading the patient to better health. What she values most as a physician is knowing she is helping her patients live a better, healthier life.
