Born and raised in India, Dr. Gopinath S. Sunil is an endocrinologist with 24 years of experience. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Kerala in 1987, he moved to the United States to continue his education at Stanford. Dr. Sunil completed his residency at Maricopa Medical Center and a fellowship at the University of Minnesota, specializing in Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Dr. Sunil's practice is built on thorough communication. He works to understand his patients' health issues and break down their symptoms to create the most effective treatment plan. His dedication to communication is also reflected in his multilingual skills; he is fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam and is currently learning Spanish.

He treats a range of conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, metabolism, obesity, malaise, fatigue, thyroid disorders, and male and female reproductive and hormone replacement issues. Dr. Sunil is committed to improving the quality of life and expanding treatment resources for the Oroville community.
