Oroville Hospital's New Medical Complex Under Construction

Oroville Hospital has started construction on its new 68,000 square foot medical complex.  The new medical complex, called Dove’s Landing, will offer upscale services to the Oroville community.  It is located in the building at 2450 Oro Dam Boulevard, previously occupied by Montgomery Wards up until the late 90’s.  Expected services include a medical spa, internal medicine, dialysis center, pharmacy, physical therapy and urgent care.

Oroville Hospital saw the need to provide more upscale services for patients with Medicare and Private Insurance.  Robert J. Wentz, President and Chief Executive Officer at Oroville Hospital said, “We wanted to give our community access to premier services.  Previously, these amenities were difficult to obtain unless you traveled to the Sacramento area.”

The new medical complex will feature a medical spa with aesthetic services.  Some of the services offered are skin treatment, resurfacing, cosmetic procedures including Botox, laser hair removal, laser skin, resurfacing laser, body contouring and surface vein oblation.

The medical complex is expected to open in four to seven months.  The new practices will be accepting Medicare and most private insurances.  Cosmetic procedures offered at the medical spa will not be covered by insurance and will require the patient to pay.  Medi-Cal insurance and charity care will still be accepted at Oroville Hospital’s other outpatient practices located in the OroHealth Medical Plaza at 2809 Olive Highway.
