USMLE STEP 3 or COMPLEX 3
The Sponsoring Institution will pay for one step 3 exam.
In order to receive Step 3 Reimbursement:
- Resident must take after July 1st of their PGY 1 year
- The resident must be employed by HCA Healthcare on the date they take the exam
- Resident must receive passing result
- Reimbursement must be submitted, via the CONCUR approval process, within 90 days of receiving the passing result.
- The following MUST be attached to the submission:
- Passing score report listing test date after July 1 of their PGY 1 year
- Receipt showing paid exam fee
Payroll Deductions
There are two types of payroll deductions. Those required by law, and those authorized by you.
Required by you:

Adequate Professional Medical Liability Coverage will be provided by Oroville Hosptial.
Health and Medical Benefits
Benefits are effective on the first day of employment.
The administrator of the Employee Benefit Plan is: Advantek Benefit Administrators.
Employees who are scheduled to work twenty hours or more per week are eligible to be covered under the Health, Dental, Vision and Prescription Plan.

**All premiums for the Health, Dental, Vision and Prescription Plans, will be paid on a Pre-Tax Basis. If you prefer to pay taxes on your premiums, please notify the Human Resource Office in writing.
Open enrollment: If enrollment forms are received more than 31 days after an employee’s eligibility date, the employee must enroll during one of the OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIODS if they are interested in obtaining benefits.
Open Enrollment Periods are May 15th through June 15th and November 15th through December 15th.
Employee Discount
Oroville Hospital offers a 20% Discount on any bill incurred at Oroville Hospital or Urgent Care by any employee, their spouse, or dependent, any member of the Oroville Hospital auxiliary, their spouse or dependent. This offer is extended to all employees regardless of their employment status or whether or not they are insured. All insurances will be billed before the discount is applied. Deductibles will be collected. Patients without insurance coverage that receive service which should be applied to a deductible, will have to pay $200.00 per person before the 20% discount will apply. The employee will show proof that all deductibles have been met before discount will apply.
