Oroville Hospital continues to diligently work on its expansion project, which will increase the hospital’s capacity and the medical resources available to the community. In 2018, Oroville Hospital started phase one of the project by demolishing multiple old structures to make way for the new 5-story tower and expanded parking.

The new 5-story tower will include ambulatory care services, intensive care unit, labor and deliver center, and two floors for medical/surgical units. The overall project will double the square footage of the current hospital and increase beds from 133 to 211. The expansion will also add roughly 700 new jobs when completed.

We are currently in the first phase of three, which consists of demolition and removal of existing structures, and expanding our parking area to better accommodate the increased influx of patients, family members and staff.
